About Austin Area Birthing Center
Austin Area Birthing Center was founded in 1987 to provide a safe, caring and comfortable environment for expectant mothers who want an alternative to hospital and home births.
AABC’s practice serves the entire area of Central Texas (including Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leander, Jarrell, Hutto, Manchaca, Buda, Kyle, San Marcos and Bastrop) and has brought thousands of children safely into this world with the help of some very proud and excited mothers. We now have two locations in Austin to better serve our mothers: our north location at 4100 Duval Rd between 183 and MOPAC and our new south center at 2500 W. Wm. Cannon Drive between Manchaca and Westgate.
AABC is the only birthing center in Central Texas accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers (CABC). Austin ABC is dedicated to providing the best environment for prenatal, birthing, postnatal and well-woman care. Don’t take our word for it, hear it straight from the mouths from some of our clients:
